Theatre Trip for 11-18 year olds

We are offering a trip for hearing impaired young people aged 11 -18 to see a captioned performance of Guys and Dolls in London on Thursday 7 July 2016. There will be a workshop and an introduction to set, props and costumes in the morning, followed by the performance in the afternoon. The group will travel by Oxford Tube and underground, accompanied by Fran Simmons and at least one other adult.

The trip is free including transport, but the young people must be members of ODCS and be aged 11-18. Let us know as soon as possible if you would like a place. Please go to the Join page If you need to renew your membership for 2016-17 (due from 1 April 2016) or join ODCS.

For more details about the event see the Mousetrap Theatre Projects website.

Football Sessions Update

Oxford City Football Club need to know each week who is going to turn up so that they can make the session suitable. Please let Dave, the coach, know in advance if your child or young person is going or if they are interested but can’t make it that week. You can ring or text Dave on 07718 046 459 or email k.newman@unicombox.com.

Please note that sessions are now only for deaf children and young people and are not open to hearing siblings.

If there are only 1 or 2 children coming, the session will be cancelled, so do keep in touch with Dave. Please support Oxford City Football Club to make these sessions successful.
