We can, in some circumstances, make small grants to support our members. Non-members can apply for funding, but should include a membership form and the subscription fee with their application. 

The Walter Buckingham Foundation Fund supports young deaf people aged 16+ who want to continue their education beyond school in further education. It may be able to provides a one off grant to help with the cost of books, equipment or other course needs. Please apply using this form: WBFF application form.

The General Funds support young deaf people or their families to attend a training course or activity by providing a one off payment. We are usually unable to fund ongoing activities, such as those that take place weekly or monthly. Please apply using this form: General Funds application form.

The young person or parent should also write a letter of application and send this, with the completed application form, to:
